Day 11

Building new habits isn’t a walk in the park. This month’s challenge is defeating the battle of the bed, waking up at 4:30AM Monday-Friday. Monday morning comes…

  • I bounce out of bed with spring in my step.
  • Brew Tea, turn on my MacBook and go straight to my email! Just kidding, but the temptation is there. What a waste of time.
  • Completed MITs
  • Previewed day
  • completed another readings
  • Wrote up part of future post

Day 12

Remember that whole walk in the park thing? yeah, so… I fell right back to sleep without accomplishing anything. Not to thrilled about it.

Day 13

Wow, this is rough. Pretty much the same thing and I needed to work on a paper for class. No worries, I was still finished it, which was later in the day, but sadly, I have to report the same story as day 12.

I realize that being intentional the night before about your MITs is the key and motivator for helping you fight through sleepiness the following morning. If you’re not foucsed and clear about what you want to accomplish, you won’t. Thanks for following along. Stay tuned and please throw any tips, thoughts or suggestions.

I know what new habit I want to attempt to work on next month. More on that later.

Sorry to hear that it’s so hard to get into this new habit. When I have time I ‘ll write about my experience some years ago.
Just a comment about the layout – I feel lost. There are no dates on your blog posts, or at least I can’t find them. Since I did not have time the last two weeks to read a lot of posts, I was trying to catch up but with this layout it is difficult. I am not sure if the front page shows only the most popular posts? Or the most recent posts? Does this mean this post (Day 10-13) is already old? I can’t tell and I did not find a way to read your blog posts in chronological order. :-( Is this part of the Thesis theme? Then this is not a recommendation for me.

Jutta,

Hey, sorry about the mix up. The power of less, experimental blogging category, so they don’t show on the front page. You have to click on the experimental blogging tab in the nav bar at the top of the site. :) This is something I’ve done. It functions like the photoblog, pictures I upload show up only on that aspect of the site. The same applies to the experimental blogging category. Make sense? Again, sorry about the confusion.
