Miguel: When it comes to blogging success, what excites you the most?
Sam: When it comes to blogging success, what excites me the most is the emails I get from people whom I have impacted.
Through the 16 steps training, I received thousands of emails and a lot of phone calls over the 8 weeks, and I still continue to get emails about the difference I have made in their lives and in their business.
I had several occasions where I was reading emails that literally brought tears to my eyes. You can not put a price tag on that.
This was unexpected and it has been my greatest joy working online.
Miguel: What internet trends have recently caught your eye?
Sam: Great question Miguel! I would have to say that marketing as we have known it is changing.
We have seen the rapid growth and popularity of social media. These sites allow the users to completely control the content they receive.
I believe this is going to continue to evolve and I expect we will see big changes in the search engines like Google in how search results are delivered to the end user.
Direct advertising will still play a major roll and Google adwords (and Google as a company) has become a corporate game today with companies spending hundreds of thousands of dollars each month to grab the attention and dollars of consumers.
You can see this first hand using a tool called Spyfu. Spyfu allows you to see an average of what a company is spending on Google adwords.
I also see that with the creation of Apples iPhone’s, and now the new 3G from apple that I saw last night on TV, that the internet is shifting from the bulky desktop and laptops to the hand help computer.
It will not replace them entirely but there is no doubt that people are addicted to the technology and are demanding that they can take the internet with them in their back pockets. Just be careful not to sit on your new 3G.
The latest phones allow you to access your social media sites directly onto your hand held and as we speak, modules are rapidly being developed to work with your hand held computer phones.
I foresee a rapid growth in this area as we become even more mobile than we currently are.
