- StrongLifts: For everything you need on Strength training and beyond. The author posts several times a week. There’s enough material on the site to keep you busy for months. Not to mention the forums, which are a neat treasure, easily maintain a training log, discuss recent posts, ask questions about lifts and more. See my training log here
- Lifehacker: This is one of the top sites on the internet, according to recent stats. For the rundown on gadgets, software (Win/Mac), life hacks, productivity, useful links, and so on. If you’re not visiting this site twice a day, you’re missing out.
- MakeUseOf: Similar to lifehacker. My favorite aspects: Cool web sites and tools feature, everything mac related and their free download manuals. Need to learn photoshop or how to buy a laptop? These guys got you covered.
- AndroidandMe: For all my Android fixes and needs. These guys are on top of it when it comes to rumors, tips and insight. They boast a strong Twitter following, supportive forums and writers that know what they’re talking about.
- Skelliewag: Yes, the site’s author hasn’t updated recently but dig through the archives and discover the treasures therein. Her work is prolific, practical and actionable. She will leave you stunned while asking for more. Learn from one of the best.
- Twitter: That’s a given but my time on Twitter is mostly used intentionally. However, at times, I’ll designate specific times to simply make new connections.
- Facebook: I’ve been with Facebook for years; since my second year of college, which was back in 04, so here’s a welcome to all you newbies out there. Seriously, for me, Facebook is more personal compared to other social media sites. Initially, friends on Facebook were the people I actually met during college.
- Howtomakemyblog: Like Skelliewag- Marko is remarkably practical and helpful in his approach to helping others learn to blog. From content creation, to plugins, to design and so forth, he has much to other. His advice on Twitter is second to none.
- WritetoDone: The author of this site is Leo from Zenhabits. The produces two quality posts per week on various writing topics.
- Smarterware: Gina is the creator of Lifehacker. She delivers posts on all things tech; from Google Wave, to Firefox extensions and so on. She also a proud Android user! You’ll find golden nuggets weekly at Smarterware.
Two things. My site browsing isn’t always fixed and intentional- meaning, many times I freelance. There’s other sites I could throw on this list but this kind of gives you an idea of my tracks online. The takeaway: Diversity
If you haven’t noticed, I enjoy reading all sorts of topics. A lot of bloggers talk about the importance of this, I do it primarily for personal reasons, but it tends to help me produce more content on this site and elsewhere, as time allows.
However, let’s be clear, just because we take the advice on reading various topics- outside our niche- doesn’t mean you’re automatically gonna deliver the goods- have ideas to write out- on your blog.

I’m familiar with Lifehacker and Writetodone. I have many times visited their sites and I have learned interesting information as well as deep insights. There are a lot of good blogs in the internet if we manage to look around.
On the pressure I put in producing my blog, I always give my best to every words I put into my articles.

LifeHacker (and Skelliewag) is a great read! One of my daily stops as well (or at least when I can get to it through the feedreader).
Great resources and no doubt, to be a better blogger we need to read more. Very nice compilations while some I haven’t really visited at all. Imagine how much we can gain from one another!
